Mercedes is a well-qualified transport consultant with over eighteen years’ experience. She has worked on a range of significant rail projects undertaking Assurance management and risk modelling studies, addressing the risks associated with the introduction of new trains in UK, Middle and Far East, and new railway infrastructures in Australia. Mercedes has also worked in road schemes, aviation due diligence and airport development projects, and she has been involved in Corporate Risk Management, in evaluating the safety implications of organisational changes in railway organisations
